In 12 September 1959, Bonanza Premiers. Bonanza is first regularly-scheduled TV program presented in color. Bonanza series tell about adventure of Cartwright family which is headed by thrice widowed patriarch Ben Cartwright (Lorne Greene). He had three son, each of them by different wife. The oldest is Adam Cartwright (Pernell Roberts), the second is Eric Cartwright (Dan Blocker), and the youngest is Joe Cartwright (Michael Landon). And the family cook is Hop Sing (Victor Sen Yung). The storyline deals with Ben and his three dissimilar sons, how they cared for one another, their neighbors and their land.

Cake Wisdom

This morning i ran out of idea than i ask my colleague about idea, he tell his worries to me. And then this cake wisdom is suddenly pop up in my mind. Cake is an delicious food to eat, specially when eat in special day like birthday, date, celebration, graduation, etc. There are many cake variety in flavor, shape, and material. And people have their favorite cake but for me cake that delicious is made from tiramisu. But the Cake Wisdom came from the process to made a cake, and the story is like this:

A little girl tell her mother about her worries “why everyone have their best?” and then her mother say “little girl let’s we made a cake, it’s will make your feeling better”. And then they prepare the ingredients for the cake: flour, egg, and chocolate powder. After prepare the ingredients, the mother ask “please taste this flour”, and the little girl taste and say “it’s taste like flavorless”. “Okay” say the mother and her ask more “please taste this egg”. Then the little girl taste the egg and say ” it’s taste like stench”. “Okay” and her ask more “please taste this chocolate powder”. Then the little girl taste the chocolate powder and say “it’s taste like chocolate but it’s more bitter”. “Okay” say the mother, and then they continue to mix the flour and egg. And the mother ask “please taste this mixed material” and the little girl taste. Then she say “it’s taste like foam but it’s more delicious”. “Okay” say the mother, and they continue mix with chocolate powder. And again the mother ask “please taste this mixed material” and the little girl taste. Then she say “it’s taste like candy and it’s the most delicious taste”. The mother say “Okay, but you still need to wait”, and the mother fill cake print with the mixed material. And then she baked it in the oven, the little girl is rush the mother to show the most delicious taste, and she says “You need to wait until it’s finished or the taste will bad”. After sometimes, the cake is ready and then the mother take the cake out from oven. Then she say please taste the cake, and the little girl taste it. Then she says “you right mother this is the most delicious taste”, and the mother say “That right, little girl you just need to be patient , because god will give our best on the right time, you can’t rush it cause it will make it worse like when we made the cake”. The girl cry and says “okay mother, i will not jealous with other people, and just enjoy my time”

The Cake Wisdom is “you can’t rush thing, because it will be wonderful when the time is right”

Swimsuit Manner

Is there any swimsuit manner? why this topic is out of the air, it is because i just curious if there are any swimsuit manner when we met person in swimsuit out of the pool. What we must do when we met our friend in swimsuit out of the pool?  we just silent or we just say hi or even we just ignore them like we not saw them. I’m personally choose option number 1 because i think if we saw our friend in swimsuit, they will feel embarrassment because their cloth show their body shape. So, i will remain silent to give them time to get rid of that feeling. But my friend says that is weird because if we saw our friend, we must say hi without concern about their cloth. Because after all we are friend, right?  and if friend sees their friend, they will always show their respect by say hi to friend. And of course option number 3 will make our friendship will break because it show that we don’t even respect our friend at all, cause ignoring friend will make them think are we friend? is this not out of the line? or even worse are we know each other?. But this just wild thought that out of my mind, it is show that my mind still need exercise to become more wisdom.

To solve this problem in my mind, i think we can act like option number 1 or option number 2. And it’s show how close we are with our friend. If we see close friend, we will choose option number 2 and then say i need to change because i feel not comfortamble. Of course as a friend we will understand that. And if we just ordinary friend, we will choose option number 1 until our friend disappear from our sight or they say hi, to show them our respect. That’s all see you next time in my wild thought, 😀

In 11 September 2001, this tragedy happen WTC is bombing. There are many thing walking in the air about this tragedy, like it’s a conspiracy from USA itself to make right their war with terrorism. But we can’t just close eye to this tragedy, because this tragedy have high causality. The causalities were 2,974 fatalities, excluding the 19 hijackers: 246 on the four planes (from which there were no survivors), 2,603 in New York City in the towers and on the ground, and 125 at pentagon.  An additional 24 people remain listed as missing. All of the fatalities in the attacks were civilians except for 55 military personnel killed at the Pentagon. More than 90 countries lost citizens in the attacks on the World Trade Center.

My condolence for this event and i hope this will not happen again. This event show that wrong fanatism is must be cleared with more discusion with each religion, more socialization about religion, and of course increase mutual respect with other religion. Last, different is beautiful because if all the same it will become a monotone world.

MP Stream, Here I Come

What is MP Stream? MP Stream is Mincom Practice Stream, it’s one stream in my work. Why I Choose this Stream? There is several reason to choose this Stream, like :

– My test in MP Stream is the highest among all my friend, that make me think maybe i can grow in this stream.

– MP Stream have more chance than other stream to go to other country, that make me think maybe i can travel around to another country like i’m always dream.

– MP Stream have best working implemented system, that make me think maybe i can learn more about work system in this stream.

– MP Stream references can’t be search in internet, that make me think this stream is special programming that i can’t get in internet like the other programming.

– MP Stream have possibility to compound with other stream, that make me think this stream is flexible, so i can learn other programming too.

– MP Stream need SE2 more, that make me think i can grow up me carreer fast because other stream have many SE2.

– in MP Stream every people have their special topic, that make me think i can learn more in this stream.

– in MP Stream can ask every people, that make me think the situation will be more friendly.

– Other Stream can be always to enter if we still SE1, that make me think this stream is so special because to enter this stream we need training again because 99% of first entering MP Stream don’t understand this Stream.

So there are my hope in entering this stream. But if there a hope, there are always worries, like :

– I’m too fast to make decision while my colleague still think twice to enter stream, that make me wonder if i can go back to the past, may i make other choice or just a same decision.

– I’m too worry there are no other stream call, that make me wonder if no other stream call i will doing nothing in office because it’s so boring to waste time like that.

– I’m too worry to wait for other stream call, that make me wonder is there any other stream call, if i reject this MP Stream call.

– I’m not really understand MP Stream, that make me wonder do i really suit in MP Stream.

– Friends act like I’m going to hell, that make me wonder is this really good stream, or they just really think this stream is bad choice, but actually this a good stream.

– Friends will gather around to other stream and leave me alone in MP Stream, that make me wonder can i stand by myself in this stream because without friend i will feel nothing.

– I’m make too risky decision, that make me wonder why i become like this, because I’m always make safe decision cause i can’t stand a failure.

– Can i change stream easily if I’m not suit in this stream, that make me wonder do i really stuck in MP Stream if moving to other stream is impossible.

– Can i work in other place if i going to MP Stream, that make me wonder what company really search to accept employee, are their programming language skill, or just their analytical skill, because programming language in MP Stream most likely not used in other place.

But after all, i just make my decision. And  i will entering the MP Stream, and i hope it is the best for me. So, that really matter now just to make my time in MP Stream is precious for me. And to make my time precious for me, i need to be love my work and give all that i have. So, i will do that, and now i yell “MP Stream, Here I Come” to show that i’m ready to this challenge.

Bamboo Wisdom

This day i have difficulty to find wisdom in this day because yesterday my colleague had their stream call. It shows that i have a lack of wisdom because I’m jealous with their call which is if i have wisdom, i will be happy with their call and hope the best for them. But after all I’m just human seek for wisdom in every day life and hope someday i have all wisdom to understand all problem in my life. So i will take wisdom of this day from my childhood memory, Bamboo.

Bamboo is a uncommon plant we see in daily life, but actually bamboo is delicious food for human and bamboo is common to use in everyday human life. Even Bamboo is crucial for one animal, panda because without them they will extinct. But the wisdom is not come from this matter, actually the wisdom came from this story:

When Heavy Storm happen in jungle, it’s leave trace with topple trees after the storm is passed, but we will not saw bamboo trees is down. Why this is happen? actually the reason is easily described. Bamboo trees is not topple in heavy storm because in the storm Bamboo trees follow the flow of wind in storm, not just like other plant which is topple. Because other plant is counteract the storm to stand still, and if the power of other plant is weaker than the wind, it make the plant is topple.

So the Bamboo Wisdom is “you must always adaptation with situation if you want to success”

in 1846 Sewing Machine is patent by Elias Howe. Elias Howe was born in 9 July 1819 and died in 3 October 1867.  He came from Spencer, Massachusetts.  He work in textile factory and then for master mechanic. He was not first person that invented the sewing machine but he was first person that had functional sewing machine. His sewing machine design is lockstitch. This design is look like below :

Howe must defend his patent in 1854, because Isaac Singer had perfected his machine and was selling it with the same lockstitch that Howe had invented. He won and earned his royalty. Howe died in Greenwood Cemetry, Brooklyn, New York.

Dedy Hartono, man with the red face

On Sunday, my hp was ringing and my friend from Surabaya tell me to find him hotel in kuta. Then yesterday the journey began, and because I’m to shy to go by myself. So, i persuade one of my colleague to accompany me in my journey. And The Journey begin in end of my office hour, first we go to bali prani hotel based on my colleague suggestion. And the receptionist say for 28 September until 5 October is fully booked, but we insist to looked around the hotel. First we go to standard room and it coincidentally is room used by my colleague before, and than we looked room after room. And in the apartment room class my head is ringing, this good room and if next time i want to looked for group of friends stay in Bali,  i will suggest them this place.

Because the hotel is full, than we go to one hotel to another one hotel. But it’s still same result, all hotel we trying to persuaded say their hotel actually is fully booked even over booked. So, we going to Ramada Bali hotel to ask about fitness fee and looked the equipment. And we go to receptionist and asked about fitness fee, they tell us to go to health room and just give direction unfriendly.  Then we going to find the health room by ourselves, and after walk sometime we come to turn road. And we lost because the receptionist say go to right but actually road goes to left, so we just looked around. And hopefully we saw the little sign of health room, then we enter the room.

And we asked the keeper to show us around, first we go to fitness room and saw the equipment is not well maintained and just one for each type. I personally think it’s not good place, but we still ask to show the other facilities. And then we go to locker and sauna room, actually the locker is fine and sauna room is good but it’s still the place is not good for me. But we still ask the fitness price, and the keeper say it is Rp600.000 for 3 month.

So, we ask about the pool and then the keeper just give direction unfriendly like the receptionist before. And we go to the direction the keeper say, and we found the place is creepy because the light is dreary and the situation is so quiet. But we still lost because the pool is far away from health room, so we ask staff around there and finally we came to the pool. Luckily the pool is worth to find because the pool is good and big. And then we go out Ramada Bali hotel quickly because the night is come.

After going out from the hotel, we eat in “tenda biru” because we hungry. After eat, I’m going to home and that is end of the journey. Are you not curious who is the person that accompany me for the journey? yes, you guess right the person name is Dedy Hartono.

Dedy Hartono actually is not a person with red face every time, but just when he shy. So, we can know he shy or not by looking by his face, that a funny fact about this person. And i’m not thank him enough, so i created this post just for thanks him.

Grasshopper Wisdom

This morning when i driving my car to office and think about write elephant wisdom that pop up yesterday, suddenly this thought of grasshopper pop up in my mind. Grasshopper is an unique animal because the female grasshopper will take the head of the male grasshopper after making baby with male grasshopper. And The Grasshopper movement had been influenced master of kungfu to make style in kungfu based on the movement. But like usual that not thought flow from my mind, the thought is:

if we capture grasshopper and put in the box. The Grasshopper will trying to breakthrough with jump in the box. The Grasshopper will always jump in the box and make noisy sound, and after sometime the Grasshopper jump will fit in the box and we will not hear the sound. Because the Grasshopper think “It’s my limit of jump and  i can’t jump more than this if don’t want to be hurt“. So, if we open top of the box the Grasshopper will not breakthrough from the box because the Grasshopper jump will limited to height of the box now.

so the Grasshopper Wisdom is “don’t limit capability of you”. Because you will not know what you can do until you testing your limit time after time, and maybe sometimes you will amaze what you can do.
